The Purple And Gold Blog (TP&G Blog) is a Los Angeles Lakers blog run by Ezra Poe — a passionate basketball fanatic who bleeds purple and gold since the Lakers drafted a 6'10" point guard out of Michigan State University.
Lack of time due to a busy professional and private life kept Ezra from launching TP&G Blog until after the Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics in the 2008 Finals. Peculiar time, yes, but never the wrong moment. On March 4, 2010, Ezra joined a growing sports blogging community called, Bloguin. Needless to say, it's been a blast collaborating with other basketball freaks.
A Los Angeles native, Ezra is currently freelancing as a senior graphic designer, a seasoned veteran of global travel and raising 2 kids with the most beautiful and patient wife he could ever ask for.
